Lissabon, showing top form, finished 8th in the Galencia Property South African Derby on 4 October 2015, out of a field of South Africa’s best 24 horses and riders. The Derby is regarded as the ultimate test in South African Showjumping, and includes a range of tricky, technical obstacles such banks and dykes. A keen and bold jumper, Lissabon finished in a time of 146.28s with only a foot in the water and – an unlucky – last pole down!
