The 2019 South African Showjumping season was laid to rest with the conclusion of the Radium Equestrian Burlington Cup last weekend. Team Callaho was delighted with a handful of top placings throughout the open classes but were especially proud to witness two homebred Lissabon offspring debut in the big class of the show. Callaho Lexington (Lissabon x Raphael x Watzmann) with rider Jeanne Körber and Callaho Le Cadeau (Lissabon x Heartbreaker x Indoctro) produced sterling rounds and certainly opened the doors to what seems very promising future careers at the top level. Callaho stallion, Corinth and Carl Boonzaaier also debuted at top level with a first-class effort to finish with one pole down.
Continuing on their formidable streak and championship winning campaign, Team Callaho rider, Ray Körber and Callaho Lansink (Lissabon x Pilot x Paradox) won the 1.40m Championships with Ronnie Healy and Callaho Floyd only a few split seconds behind them in third place.  What a way to end the season with the correct building blocks forming the foundation for 2020!
