We are immensely proud of the performance of our young auction horses at the fifth and final leg of the 2014 Young Horse Performance Series (YHPS). In this series young horses are judged not only on jumping penalties and time, but also on their potential as future show jumping stars, as judged by top breeders, riders and coaches. At this year’s YHPS, Callaho-bred horses walked away with the laurels in three of the four age categories. Callaho Faith (Auction 2014) won the 4 year old Potential Showjumper Award. Callaho Quinzy (Auction 2013) won the 5 year old Potential Showjumper and was also the overall series winner in the 5 year old category. In the 6 year old Category, Callaho Fiorella (Auction 2012) won both the Potential Showjumper and Showjumping Awards, and was the runner up in the series.

Winning the final in the 4 year old category: Callaho Faith, a lovely dark bay filly (by For Joy out of a Libero H mare) which was sold on the 2014 Auction. Watch this space!

Winning the Potential Show Jumper Final and leading in the overall standings with impressive scores in the 5 year old category: Callaho’s Quinzy, a very handsome dark bay gelding (by Quintender out of an Escudo mare) which was sold on the 2013 Auction. This is definitely an exciting partnership to look out for!
